KHUFU
ABOUT
Years ago, Corinne stumbled upon a delightfully battered old travel trunk whilst at an antiques market in Newark. The futuristic design of the trunk’s lining contrasted starkly with the traditional exterior – sparking a thought that resulted in Khufu. The name has no such link – it’s simply a wonderful name taken from an ancient Egyptian story that captured Corinne’s imagination when she read about it years ago.

ABOUT
Mzuri is Swahili for ‘Good’. The design is directly influenced by some stunning African textiles that Corinne discovered whilst travelling and the name was the perfect way to reflect and reference the original inspiration.

Scaridae is a geometric, modern take on an animal print and was inspired by the intricate skin of a Parrot fish that caught Corinne’s eye on a visit to an aquarium.

A design that’s inspired by both the distant past and our recent history, Tetric is drawn from a rare 1920’s wallpaper that could have gone on to inspire the visual style of one of the most popular – and visually arresting – video games of the late twentieth century.
