ANGELA'S
ANGELAS.png

BRIEF

Angela’s philosophy is an uncomplicated one. They strive to consider our people and our planet first, working directly with growers, fishermen and suppliers who understand how to make the most of their produce and at the same time minimise the impact on our environment. Angela’s have spent a lot of time researching the removal of all plastic from our supply chain, from dairy, vegetables and oil, through to fish and salt. These efforts were recognised in 2021 when Angela's were awarded a Green Michelin star for Gastronomy and Sustainability.

We sourced an environmentally friendly wool and flax mix fabric from our suppliers Camira. A gorgeous charcoal wool with white flecks due to the flax content that is both hard wearing and met all commercial fire regulations. The seating was set off with a spot button design to add that little something extra.

BRIEF

Set up in 2021 Wildes is an all day brunch and cocktail venue in the heart of the Old Town in Margate. They wanted to create a relaxed hangout, with good music and low lighting where people could relax and let their hair down. We work with owner Joe to design the banquette seating and picked out a fabulous turmeric velvet from Warwick Fabrics to compliment their colour scheme. We think it looks fab and so do they!

NEW STREET BISTRO

BRIEF

New Street Bistro is a popular restaurant located in the heart of the historic and ever popular seaside town of Margate. With just 18 seats the Bistro offers diners a cosy and intimate experience where they can enjoy carefully selected dishes of local produce as well as some of the best ingredients the UK has to offer. Chef owner Tomas Eriksson asked us to help make this cosy space a little more comfortable and so we provided some plush velvet cushions and back rests that really complemented and elevated the space.

BRIEF

We just had to work with the Libertines when we found out they were opening their boutique hotel here in Margate. Going for a decadent rock n roll vibe we picked out a jet black velvet top match the bespoke leopard print velvet design. Working in the main restaurant we upholstered a large pub bench, made bespoke window seat cushions and upholstered the dining chairs.

BRIEF

Chris and Mairead wanted to bring a little bit of Mexico to the South East of England. We worked with them to create bespoke bench and back cushion seating and reupholster dining chairs to match the gorgeous interior. We found a brilliant tan faux leather from Panaz that worked perfectly.

BRIEF

Stuart took over the Dartmouth Arms in Tufnell Park in 2018, to say it had seen better days is a massive understatement. Stuart completely remodelled the pub and working alongside Charles Of Lloyd we completely refitted all the banquette seating in a lush mustard velvet from Designers Guild. The transformation was extraordinary and now The Dartmouth arms is one of the most stunning pubs in North London, a glam neighbourhood pub with a love for great food, drink, music and Hi-Fi sound.

DARTMOUTH ARMS
THE SHAKESPEARE

BRIEF

We were commissioned by Fleet Architects to make the upholstery and curtains for The Shakespeare a new pub, workspace and holiday accommodation that they had brought and designed.

We worked alongside them to finialise the specs for the upholstery and curtains. The pop of in the curtains and the rust and oranges tones in the upholstery work so well alongside the rustic feel of the walls and wood tone.

We are absolutely delighted with the results and it is already one of our favourites pubs to go to.

Little Swift

BRIEF

We were approached by Little Swift who wanted to remodel the down stairs of the bar. They wanted to replace the high tables and chairs with more comfortable seating. We worked advised Charlotte and Steve on the style of the banquette seating and the best fabric to use in a high traffic bar.  We ended up selecting a fabric from Warwick fabrics that has an EasyClean HD finish so that they a much longevity from the fabric.

BRIEF

We were asked by Tomas at Waverley House to make the banquette seating. He wanted to create a clean and simple look for the restaurant with the seating adding an element of colour. He liked the idea of using an vibrant green and ended up choosing Linwood Tango Pine, we then added the buttoning to give the seating a bit of detail.
We're really pleased with the result and think it's looking great.
