ANGELA'S ROOMS
ABOUT
We were delighted be asked by Lee and Charlotte of Angela's of Margate to make headboards, curtains, roman blinds and cushions for the new Angela's Rooms.
The sustainability unpins everything that Angela's does and this ethos is no different for these magnificent looking hotel rooms. Sustainable design is something that is close to our heart and we relished the challenge of finding fabrics that worked with their vision for the rooms and met the sustainable brief. After consultation and whittling down options Camira Aquarius was selected for the curtains and our own brand range of sustainable fabrics from the Domus Mea collection were used for the head boards. These three fabrics were then used for the bed scatter cushions to help tie the room together. In the top bedroom we made a bolster cushion in Camira Blazer to add an extra level of comfort on the sofa.
We are absolutely delighted with the results and would love to stay in these stunning rooms.

BROADSTAIRS HOUSE
ABOUT
We were initially asked by our client to upholster their lovely Ercol Windsor sofa but they were looking for a twist on the traditional design, they wanted a couple of scatter cushions to add a bit of lower back comfort. As you can see from the photos we used two fabrics a Romo Linara fabric and Warwick Tweed, switching them round for the main fabric and piping, this helped create a little contrast but helping connect the two.
We were also asked us to make a roman blind for the children's room to create a coastal feel without going down the traditional ticking stripe route often used in coastal room schemes. The gorgeous Ripple stripe from A Rum Fellow complimented all of the colours in the room and really brought the room together.
The client is delighted with the outcome and so are we.
CRESCENT ROAD
ABOUT
Our client in Ramsgate asked us to make them a box cushion for the window to create a little reading seat with a lovely view. They soon found that they were feeling a little overlooked and when needed they wanted a little privacy without loosing too much light coming into the room. We suggested café style curtains and sourced Romo Cendal, a relaxed and rustic sheer fabric.
The client is delighted to have a private reading spot without cutting out light and being able to pull the sheers back when needed.
