Clueit Webb Interiors is a bespoke Interiors company based in Margate, Kent. We specialise in Interior Design, upholstery, vintage furniture and textiles, working with both residential and commercial clients. Clueit Webb Interiors was set up in 2021 by Ollie Clueit and Corinne Webb who share a passion for beautiful interiors and furniture.
Having combined their years of experience, Clueit Webb are firm believers that their clients tastes, wants and wishes come first. We aren’t just about creating interiors and furniture that reflects trends but look to produce results that are a true reflection of the client, whilst also working to budget and time constraints.
Helping create a home that the client loves and never wants to leave is our ultimate goal.
MEET THE TEAM
Ever since he can remember, Ollie has been surrounded by collectables and antiques, whether it be in his family home or being dragged, sometimes literally, around car boots and antique fairs every weekend by his parents. Over the years his parents’ passion developed into his own love of all things antique and vintage.
Having spent 15 years working in the music industry, working with bands and artists across the world, he soon became hungry for a change. His love of furniture and an ever-expanding collection of chairs led him to world of upholstery. Falling in love with the craft, he trained at the Upholstery Skills Centre, where he graduated with a distinction certified by The Association of Master Upholsterers & Soft Furnishers, the UK’s only accredited upholstery course covering all aspects of both traditional and modern upholstery techniques.
Coupled with a love of fabrics, colours and design, Ollie now offers his skills to help transform your much-loved piece of furniture. It could be your beloved Uncle's wingback chair, the sofa that has seen better days but is just too comfy to replace or perhaps you’ve just fallen in love with a fabulous chair that is crying out for a revamp! Whatever the brief, Ollie thrives on working closely with clients to help produce something truly stunning and unique for you and your family to treasure for another generation.
In 2020 Ollie starred as one of the expert restorers on the hit Channel 4 show ‘Mend It for Money’.
Corinne began her interiors career some 16 years ago starting out as a textile designer, moving on to work for Laura Ashley as a product designer. There she designed products for upholstery, fabric, cabinet furniture and lighting as well as room sets that featured in stores worldwide.
From there she went on to train as an upholsterer at London Metropolitan University (formerly the London College of Furniture), a course that is well known for its excellence, whilst also working for Altfield, an established showroom in Design Centre Chelsea Harbour. There she worked with international world-leading brands and high-profile interior designers creating interior schemes and project-specific sampling, as well as sourcing fabrics from mills across the world.
Not only this, but Corinne also started company Frame & Cover, with the belief that passion for furniture design and passion for ecological credentials shouldn’t be mutually exclusive. Frame & Cover produced award-winning eco home furnishings such as chairs, fabrics, cushions and rugs that went on to be featured in The Observer, Homes & Gardens and World of Interiors. These products are now available through Clueit Webb Interiors.
All of this experience has made her a versatile and adaptable designer, having worked across multiple disciplines with a unique and in-depth understanding of many aspects of products for the home. Corinne could be classed as having slightly maximalist tastes with a passion for colour, but she always delivers designs that are a true reflection of the client.
